THE POLL NUMBERS THEY'RE BURYING
70% of Republican voters support solar energy. The media won’t report it. We will.
The establishment narrative is that solar is a Democrat issue — a green grift pushed by coastal elites who want to destroy the fossil fuel industry. That narrative is convenient for exactly one group of people: the utilities.
Here’s the data they’re burying.
THE NUMBERS FROM THEIR OWN POLLSTERS
These numbers aren’t from some environmental group’s survey. They’re from Frank Luntz, Fabrizio Lee, and McLaughlin & Associates — the most respected conservative polling firms in the country.
| Question | Republican Response | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Support expanding solar energy in the U.S. | 70% in favor | Fabrizio Lee, 2023 |
| Support American domestic solar manufacturing | 75% in favor | McLaughlin/Associates, 2023 |
| Support energy independence including solar | 82% in favor | McLaughlin/Associates, 2023 |
| Believe solar is a good investment for families | 68% agree | Fabrizio Lee, 2023 |
Read those numbers again. 70%. 75%. 82%. These are Republican voters — saying, to conservative pollsters, that they support solar.
The media won’t report it because it doesn’t fit the narrative. Our job is to report it anyway.

WHY THE NARRATIVE EXISTS
The “solar is liberal” narrative was constructed and funded by utility company trade associations and fossil fuel interests. The goal: keep conservative voters from adopting solar by associating it with political ideology they reject.
It’s working. And it’s costing conservative households thousands of dollars per year.
Here’s the math: If a conservative homeowner delays going solar 5 years because they’ve been convinced it’s a liberal thing, they continue paying:
- 5 years Ă— $200/month average bill = $12,000 paid to the monopoly
- Plus 5 years of 3.5% rate increases = $12,900 total
- Minus the 30% tax credit they could have claimed 5 years earlier
The political narrative isn’t free. It costs you real money.
WHAT CONSERVATIVE VOTERS ACTUALLY WANT
The polling shows exactly what conservative voters care about when it comes to solar:
- American manufacturing — 75% want panels made in the USA
- Energy independence — 82% see solar as part of the solution
- Financial savings — 68% see it as a smart investment
- Property rights — Strong majorities reject HOA restrictions
Notice what’s NOT on the list: environmental benefits. Conservatives support solar for the same reasons they support any economic freedom — it makes financial sense, supports American workers, and reduces dependence on systems that exploit them.
That’s the truth the media buries. And that’s why we’re publishing it.
THE STATES THAT PROVE IT
The data doesn’t just exist in polls. It exists in the actual installation numbers:
- Texas — #1 or #2 in solar growth every year since 2020. Deep red state. Record installations.
- Florida — #2 in growth. DeSantis signed solar property rights legislation.
- Arizona — Top 5 solar state. Voted Trump in 2020 (disputed) and 2024.
- Georgia — Q CELLS just built a $2.5 billion solar factory there. 2,500 American jobs.
These aren’t liberal states. These are Trump states leading the solar revolution — and the media won’t tell you that either.

ARE YOU GOING TO LET THE NARRATIVE KEEP COSTING YOU?
The utility lobby wants you to believe solar is for liberals. They want you to reject it on cultural grounds. Every month you wait is another month they collect their monopoly rent from your family.
The 70% of Republican voters who support solar have figured it out. Time to join them.
